Prime Minister David Cameron has delivered his Easter address this morning with a defiant message to terrorists that the UK "will not be cowed by terror".
Speaking in the wake of last week's terror attacks in Brussels the PM said it was time to "stand together" and "stand up proudly for our values and our way of life" in the face of threats from would-be attackers.
He said: "When terrorists try to destroy our way of life as they have tried to do again so despicably in Brussels this week - we must stand together and show that we will never be cowed by terror.
"We must defeat the pernicious ideology that is the root cause of this terrorism by standing up proudly for our values and our way of life."
The speech, which was posted on YouTube, comes the day after Belgian prosecutors confirmed they had charged a man identified as "Faycal C" in connection with the attacks in Brussels which killed 31 people.
