A 19-year-old man is helping police with their enquiries over the disappearance of Jade Lynch who was found "safe and well".
The 14-year-old, from St Helens, Merseyside, was tracked down by police after disappearing for 11 days without her mobile phone or any access to cash.
During that time her sister Stephanie made an emotional appeal for her younger sibling's safe return.
Jade went missing from St Helens after telling her younger brother she was going to meet someone.
Cheshire Police said the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Jade's disappearance is currently ongoing, and a 19-year-old man is helping officers with their enquiries.
The force also said they wanted to remind people about Jade's vulnerability following comments online.
Detective Superintendent Jon Betts said: "Since Jade's return, we have noticed a number of negative comments on social media sites.
Inappropriate and upsetting comments do not help the investigation, and simply cause further upset and distress for Jade and her family.
"We would like to remind everyone that Jade is a vulnerable teenager and throughout our investigation our aim has been for her safe return."
