Police in India have arrested 15 suspects who brutally gang raped a mother and her 14-year-old daughter.
The victims were travelling in a car with three male companions when their vehicle was stopped by a group wielding an iron rod on Friday.
After tying up the three men, the mother and daughter were dragged to a nearby field where they were sexually assaulted, according to local police.
The victims were then robbed of money, jewellery and mobile phones.
Officers have now detained 15 suspects in relation to the attack near the town of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh.
Friday's attack was the latest in a number of gang rapes to have rocked the Asian powerhouse in recent years.
In March, a 15-year-old girl died after being set on fire and gang raped.
Within days of that attack, a two-week-old baby was killed as her mother was raped on a bus.
