A second Harry Potter spin-off film has been announced, before the first has even hit the screens.
JK Rowling's screen writing debut Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, starring Eddie Redmayne, is out on November 18.
But movie bosses have now announced that work on a darker sequel is already underway.
"Fantastic Beasts" follows Newt Scamander, a "magizoologist" on a mission to catalogue otherworldy creatures in New York,
Warner Bros said the second outing will also be penned by the author and is expected to have a "darker edge", but fans will have to wait until November 16, 2018, to see the finished product.
Last week a new book in the Harry Potter series was released to coincide with the opening of a play of the same name, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
