A 20-year-old woman has died in a high-speed car crash following an incident involving a drone outside Wandsworth Prison.
The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene after the car she was travelling in ploughed into a wall at a reported speed of 120mph.
The car was chased by police after a drone was reportedly spotted near the grounds of Wandsworth Prison in south London.
The male driver of the car was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remains in a "critical condition".
Flowers were left at the scene, with one card reading: "Rest in eternal peace Princess Kaysha."
Milly Lord, 77, who lives in one of the houses which had its wall destroyed by the crash, said: "It was about just before three this morning. The bang was unbelievable - it really made me shook up.
"I could hear the guy's screaming out in the car. He was crying as if he was in pain. I imagine he was the driver. Eventually they took away a body bag."
A spokesman for the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said: "The Metropolitan Police referred the matter to the IPCC because a police vehicle was following the car involved in the collision immediately prior to the incident.
"IPCC investigators attended the scene and also the post incident procedures, where the officers involved are providing their accounts."
