Anelisa Lambola makes a long-awaited return to The X Factor, almost a decade after her first audition.
The singer wowed the judges when she auditioned in 2007 at just 17, but crashed out after reacing the final 12.
Lambola feels she is finally ready at the age of 26, saying: "I am not having history repeat itself. I am going to go and win this competition."
She was not the only contestant to return, with identical twins Kyle and Josh reappearing in front of the judges.
Now 17, the Brooks brothers were encouraged by Louis Walsh's words when he did not put them through during the Judges' Houses stage last year, saying: "I think in a year or two you are going to be incredible."
Jamuna Gibbs, a 63-year-old cleaner from Lancashire also hoped to impress the judges with her version of Dancing On My Own, telling the judges: "I like men because I'm a tart. A tart with a heart."
Sharon Osbourne tells her: "Oh, Mrs, you're naughty. Fabulously naughty."
And there were different naughty words elsewhere as Simon Cowell got the giggles, thinking contestant Faye Horne was called "Faye Horny".
Cowell was made to turn round while she sang, as he kept making her laugh through her rendition of Sam Smith's Writing's On The Wall.
After the performance, he said: "That was difficult for you, embarrassing for me."
