The Royal Mail has released its annual series of Christmas stamps, featuring a snowman, a pudding and a postman-inspired robin.
The six new stamps were designed by Manchester-based artist Helen Musselwhite who first laid out paper cut-outs, which she then photographed.
"Illustrating the Royal Mail Christmas 2016 stamps has been one of the most important and favourite jobs of my career to date," Ms Musselwhite said.
"I'm immensely proud that my work will be winging its way across the world sending season's greetings far and wide from the UK."
The robin's appearance in the series was inspired by Victorian postmen, who wore red coats.
The Royal Mail advises that Christmas cards are posted by December 20 for 2nd class, December 21 for 1st class, December 22 for special delivery and December 23 for guaranteed Saturday special delivery.
