After learning that she had terminal cancer, Kate Greene left notes around her house for her husband and sons to find, reminding them that she loved them and giving them instructions for the weeks following her death.

The 37-year-old, who died in 2010, left notes such as one instructing her husband, Singe, to "kiss the boys twice", while another reminded him to "buy orange Club biscuits".

The moving story has been made into a film - called Mum's List - starring Emilia Fox and Rafe Spall as Kate and her husband, and premiered in the couple's hometown of Clevedon in Somerset on Thursday evening.
