Gym membership? What gym membership?
We all know how expensive gym memberships can be and getting yourself into a contract you are struggling to keep up with, can be tough on the bank balance.
But don’t stop there, your fitness journey hasn’t reached a brick wall! There’s nothing stopping you from putting aside 15 minutes of your day with an ‘at home workout’.
I realise how hard it is to fit exercise in when you’ve got children. I’ve got my own toddler so I get it! But it’s just about making it part of your routine and making that a priority. Just 15 minutes a day will make all the difference.
All you need is a little space, maybe a chair for some bench dips, or some tins of beans for a bicep curl...and you’re away!
Did you know that doing 15 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training (or HIIT for short) can burn more calories than half an hour on a treadmill!
It’s not all about joining an expensive gym. You can do these workouts in your own home...and all in the time it takes to make a brew and check your phone.
Speaking of treadmills...the average UK adult wastes £150 a year on unused sports equipment. So if you have any old treadmills knocking about, don’t let it gather dust and put it to good use!
