Mark Pougatch hosts as live boxing returns to ITV Box Office with coverage of the World Boxing Super Series final as super-middleweight world champion George Groves puts his WBA 'Super' title on the line against Callum Smith in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday September 28.
This all-British world title fight has been eagerly anticipated ever since both fighters came through their respective semi-finals back in February, and the winner will not only walk away with a world title but the Muhammad Ali Trophy, WBC Diamond and Ring Magazine belts as well.
Number one seed George Groves successfully defended his world title against Chris Eubank Junior in the semi-final. Despite dislocating his shoulder in the final round, Groves made it through to the final bell to claim a unanimous points victory over Eubank at the Manchester Arena.
A week later in Nuremberg Callum Smith defeated Nieky Holzken on points to maintain his undefeated record and set up a showdown with Groves.
Commentary comes from Ronald McIntosh and Richie Woodhall with analysis from Duke McKenzie.
