Storm season is upon us and the first one to reach the United Kingdom's way is Helene.
It started life as a tropical storm in America before becoming an ex-tropical storm and has now been downgraded to its current status as a mere storm.
The deep area of low pressure is moving in from the Atlantic on a very strong jet stream at the moment.
There is quite a wide area of weather warning in force on Tuesday as Helene makes its way across the UK.
From the south coast up to the Scottish border is covered by a yellow weather warning due to the strong winds expected, which could reach up to 60mph and there will be heavy rain across Scotland.
The south east will see wind on Tuesday but it should not suffer from being too cold.
