The unseasonably very mild weather will continue over the next few days due to a warm feed of air coming up from the Canary Islands. Today we saw temperatures way above average for the time of year. Scotland saw its warmest February day in more than 122 years. Aboyne touched 18.3C.
This Evening and Tonight: Rather cloudy with occasional rain and strong winds across western Scotland and Northern Ireland. Dry with clear spells elsewhere, but low cloud and fog will form across parts of southern and central England.
Friday: Low cloud and fog largely clearing giving a dry day with hazy sunshine. Cloudier and breezier in the far west with a little rain. Feeling very mild for many.
