More than fifty firefighters are tackling a blaze at a disused mill in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Crews from across the county were called to the fire in the four-storey building on Great Horton Road.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said 10 appliances were at the scene on Tuesday evening along with two aerial platforms.
The road has been closed and local people asked to keep windows closed whilst the fire is dealt with.
Witnesses reported seeing flames pouring from the roof of the building and smoke visible from a large part of the Bradford area.
The blaze has impacted on local transport connections, buses have been forced to divert in order to ensure public safety.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
It is believed the entirety of the building's roof has been damaged, according to a statement from local fire officials.
