Rescuers rushed to a California beach to save a woman clinging onto rocks for dear life, only to discover it was a movie mannequin.
An emergency call was made to 911 after the figure was spotted on the side of a rockface at Hope Ranch Beach near Santa Barbara.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the person in question was in fact a doll left behind from a movie shoot which had taken place days before.
Fire engines, rescue vehicles and drone were sent to the scene, only to ascertain it was a false alarm. Despite time seemingly being wasted, firefighters weren't put out by the unnecessary call.
"Better to call than not!" a Twitter post from firefighters read.
