Police have launched an appeal for two teenage girls who they believe have gone missing together from Tamworth.

Staffordshire Police said 14-year-old Ellie-Mae Matthews was last seen at around 12pm on Friday in the town, while 15-year-old Katie McCormack was last seen just half an hour later.

The force believe the pair are together.
