Officers investigating the deaths of 6 members of the same family in a house fire in Harlow say it could be murder.

At a press conference today officers said they were open to the possibility that five children and their mother were murdered at their home in Barn Mead.

Police also say the home may have been burgled before the fire on Monday October 15.

Investigators have launched three lines of inquiry: They are searching for a laptop which may have been stolen from the house; they want to question four teenagers who were seen near the house at 1.50am; and they are searching for a teenage boy and a slim girl who may have been seen with a laptop.
