Police in Suffolk say that two potential witnesses they wanted to talk to after a man was critically injured when he was pushed off a bus in Ipswich have come forward.

The 65 year old man who was hurt is being treated for head injuries in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

Officers are still looking for more witnesses to the incident which happened on Defoe Road at around six o'clock on Thursday evening.

A 26-year-old man from Ipswich who was arrested on suspicion of GBH is still being held at the Police Investigation Centre in Martlesham.
