Chelmsford campaign sends boxes of love to children in war-torn countries

These pupils from The Bishops School in Chelmsford are helping those children less fortunate.

They've been packing shoeboxes filled with toys and gifts to be sent off to refugee camps, orphanages and homeless shelters overseas.

And this is the warehouse where they end up. They're sorted by a team of volunteers for Operation Christmas Child.

Last year the charity 'Samaritan's Purse' sent more than 113 million shoeboxes to 157 countries including Africa and the Far East.

They're small boxes filled with love that are sure to bring a big smile to children living thousands of miles away.
