Hundreds of protesters have marched through the centre of Baldock in Hertfordshire to protest against plans to build homes on green belt land near the town.
Those opposed to the plan say the town can't cope with 3 and a half thousand new homes - but the district council says new infrastructure would be put in place...
A public meeting was also held at Baldock community centre to discuss the plans. The district council is consulting on its preferred options for development until February the 6th.
