If you're travelling on Abellio Greater Anglia trains, you could be forgiven for thinking you're seeing double.

24-year-old twins, Adam and Luke Putland from Norwich, are both conductors for the company and are used to passengers looking a little confused.

Luke (on the left) is the younger of the twins (by two minutes) but he is a senior conductor, while Adam has only just qualified.

He used to work in the buffet car.

"People do a double take and say 'didn't you just check my ticket?'

I have to say that I don't know what they're talking about."

Now that they're both conductors they rarely work the same shifts together.

The boys have many shared interest - trains and animals among them. But insist they also try to be independent.

"We try and lead as separate lives as possible.

We try and get a few interests by ourselves and sometimes do stuff by ourselves.

But when you live together and you've had a twin all your life, of course you're going to pick up the same interests. I don't know any different from not having a twin"

– Adam Putland

So if you're travelling by train it's not just on tickets you can get a two for one deal.
