Cambridge astrophysicist wins 'star prize' for brewing beer
A Cambridge University astrophysicist has won the 'star' prize in a national home brewing competition.
Will Alston impressed the judges with his Belgian style beer - infused with rhubarb.
For his day job he is an astrophysicist who works in research at teh university's Institute of Astronomy.
He took first prize in the Great British Homebrew Challenge which is run by Derbyshire brewery Thornbridge and the supermarket Waitrose.
