A court has heard how a bricklayer from Hertfordshire was crushed to death when a wall fell on him, despite a site supervisor being warned by fellow workers it could be unsafe.

Gareth Jones, from Welwyn Garden City, died instantly when the accident happened in St Albans in January 2013.

The firm responsible, Linley Development, faces a corporate manslaughter charge whilst two senior workers have pleaded guilty to contravening health and safety regulations.
