Police have begun investigations after two cash machine ram-raids took place overnight, one in Bedfordshire, the other in Cambridgeshire.
The raids in Biggleswade and Gamlingay are fairly close, with the A1 splitting the two locations.
Bedfordshire police are investigating the attempted raid which targeted a machine in the wall of a supermarket in Market Square just before 4am this morning.
Police say a vehicle which is thought to be stolen was left at the scene and that the offenders made off without the cash machine.
Officers from Cambridgeshire police are also at the scene of the ram-raid in Gamlingay.
