A protest march has been held in Huntingdon over plans to merge two local hospitals to save money.
The trusts in charge of Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital are considering a full merger as one of several options for them working more closely together.
The MP for Huntingdon Jonathan Djanogly joined the march. He says a merger is not the solution to the financial issues faced by Hinchingbrooke Health Care Trust and the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals Trust.
However protestors say they don't want to lose the independence of their local hospitals.
