CCTV released in hunt for Hertfordshire statue vandals

Police trying to catch vandals who beheaded a 150-year-old statue in Hertfordshire have released CCTV of two people they would like to speak to.

The damage happened on St Andrew's Street in Hertford at about 3.30am on Saturday March 26.

The top part of the statue of 15th-century printed William Caxton was pulled off and left on the pavement.

Police hope someone someone will recognise the two grainy figures in the CCTV footage.
