Super Dad who cares for terminally ill daughter surprised on live TV

A father-of-three from Dunstable, who gave up work to care for his terminally ill daughter, was left stunned this morning after being surprised on national television.

Ruby was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour just after her first birthday.

The family have been supported by the Keech Care hospice in Luton. They arranged for Good Morning Britain to surprise Martin live on TV.

Nurse Sonya O'Leary from Keech and father-in-law John said they were very proud of the 'wonderful job' Martin has done.

Martin, who has always wanted to drive a racing car, was presented this morning with a day’s VIP racing experience at Silverstone, tickets to the Grand Prix and a holiday for the whole family.
