Norfolk prison chaplain gets on his bike to help ex-offenders

Video report by ITV News Anglia's Kate Prout.

Mark Bredin, Quaker Chaplain at HMPs Norwich and Wayland, is cycling 200 miles around Norfolk in four days.

He's raising funds for local charity, The House of Genesis, who need to raise £25,000 towards the setting up of a third house in Norwich for homeless ex-prisoners.

The trip takes him and two other cyclists along the Norfolk coast and then inland to Wayland Prison where they should finish on Thursday.

"If it wasn't for the house of Genesis I wouldn't be where I am today. I'd still be in and out of Norwich prison, in the wrong crowds and still addicted to a lot of drugs. What they do is amazing. Hostels have over 160-200 people in. House of Genesis have only 6 guys in so there's individual care"
