Fundraisers in Wellingborough are hoping to raise thousands of pounds for a little boy who's fighting cancer.

Gerry Gents is only 7 months old, but he's already had major surgery after being diagnosed with the rare childhood cancer Neuroblastoma.

According to Macmillan Cancer Support, fewer than 100 children in the UK are diagnosed with the disease each year.

Now, family and friends have held a fundraiser for him and they say they're overwhelmed by the support from the local community.

From the bottom our hearts, just thank you. Thank you so much for everything.

Everybody, the donations that've been coming through, they've been massive.

It's just fantastic.
