Lifeboat rescues sailor who hit trouble off East coast
A disabled sailor attempting to raise money for charity by making his way around the UK has had to be rescued by a lifeboat crew off the coast of Suffolk.
Keith White got into trouble 27 miles from Lowestoft on Sunday evening. The sail of his yacht had ripped and a large wave had knocked out the electrics.
Mr White was aiming to become the first disabled sailor to make it non-stop around Britain and Ireland. An RNLI spokesman said he was "a bit upset" about needing to be rescued.
