The Norfolk charity, Rescue Wooden Boats, has a new project in mind.
Not content with restoring Lucy Laver, a former lifeboat that took part in the Dunkirk 'Little Ships' evacuation, it now wants to get a former whelker, Bessie, back on the water.
Bessie also took part in the rescue flotilla, in a secret mission to save a VIP from the beaches of Normandy.
No one knows who he was.
Bessie was built in 1935 for the Cox family who whelked with her out of Wells-next-the-Sea for 30 years.
Now she's in the Hewitt boatyard at Stiffkey waiting for David, George and Tom to bring her back to her former glory.
