Norfolk singer Leon Mallett has become the latest contestant to leave this year's X Factor.
The 22-year-old from Lingwood, near Great Yarmouth, gave it is all with his rendition of Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' but it wasn't enough to see him progress further after he finished last in the public vote.
It's actually the second time that Leon has been eliminated after he was originally sent home during the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition - only to be then picked as one of four wildcards to sing at the live shows.
Speaking to host Dermot O'Leary following his exit, Leon said that it had been a brilliant experience.
"The whole thing has been a highlight, sharing the stage with such talent, I just feel humbled and blessed to share it with all these guys," he said.
“It’s been a great year, everyone is amazing. Thanks to the public for voting me back and letting me have that opportunity.”
