Man charged with murder of pregnant woman

A man's been charged with murdering a pregnant woman in Milton Keynes.

Ella Parker's body was found at a house on Newport Road in New Bradwell on Thursday 7, December. A post-mortem examination found she had been stabbed in the neck.

Ryan Blacknell, 24, of no fixed address will appear before magistrates on Wednesday 13, December.

He was originally arrested on Friday before being released on bail, then rearrested and charged.

Ella Parker's family are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.

Police have said to expect an increased presence of officers in New Bradwell as the investigation into her death continues.

They have also referred themselves to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) in relation to its response to a missing person report, in connection with this incident,
