Cambridge United have signed Norwich City youngster Adam Phillips on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old midfielder joined the Canaries on a two-year deal in the summer following his release by Liverpool, and has since gone on to captain the club's under 23s side.
Phillips has also featured on the bench for the first team squad on a couple of occasions, but is yet to make his senior debut.
"Adam is a player that arrives with a fantastic reputation and one that we have kept a close eye on for a couple of years now," Cambridge United manager Shaun Derry said.
"With the second half of the season still to play, we highlighted the need for more options and quality on the ball in midfield areas.
“We wish Adam the very best of luck during his time here with Cambridge United.”
Elsewhere, Peterborough United have extended the loan of Reading goalkeeper Jonathan Bond until the end of the season while Northampton Town have completed the loan signing of Legia Warsaw winger Hildeberto Pereira.
The 21-year-old started his career at Benfica and spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest. The Cobblers have released Lewis McGugan and Ryan McGivern though.
In League Two, Colchester United have signed Maldon & Tiptree duo Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe and Ryan Gondoh but midfielder Craig Slater is expected to move to Scottish Championship side Dundee United on loan until the end of the season.
