A pensioner with cerebral palsy was robbed and abused by two young teenagers in his own home.
66-year-old Robin Murken was forced to watched as the teenagers aged between 12 and 14 ransacked his possessions in front of him.
The robbery took place on February 5 in the terrace house Robin has called home for 53 years.
He is well known in Newmarket for his charity work and looked after his Mum until she died seven years ago.
A crowdfunding campaign has raised a thousand pounds for Robin. The money will be used for new doors and to enhance security at his home.
Police say even they are shocked by the crime and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
