Three sheep have been found butchered and killed in a field near Ipswich.
The animals were discovered in a wooded area in Chelmondiston following the incident overnight between Wednesday 21 February and Thursday 22 February.
Police say the sheep had their throats cut and carcasses removed, while they were grazing in a field off Berners Lane.
Two of the three sheep were also found partially skinned. Two knives were found nearby.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw any suspicious activity is asked to contact Suffolk police on 101.
