Northampton Saints forward Courtney Lawes has been ruled out for the rest of the season with knee ligament damage.
The 29-year-old suffered the knee injury in England's 22-16 Six Nations defeat to France last weekend.
He'll now undergo surgery and is expected to miss the next 14 weeks.
The injury also means he'll probably sit out England's tour of South Africa this summer.
"This is of course a huge shame for Courtney, who has had another exceptional season so far," Saints interim director of rugby Alan Gaffney said.
"But he is in great hands here at Franklin's Gardens, and we know he will be diligent with his rehab and come back fighting fit as soon as is possible."
