Organisers of the Clacton Airshow have announced that the Red Arrows will be returning to the event this summer.
The world famous aerobatics team, who have been a regular fixture at the show in recent years, will be treating crowds to displays on both August 23 and 24.
The event on the seafront is celebrating its 27th year and more than 250,000 people attended the 2017 show.
“We know that the RAF Red Arrows are a real crowd-pleaser and are the highlight for many of our spectators at the Clacton Airshow,” Mick Skeels from Tendring District Council said.
“It is easy to understand why – as anyone who has watched their display will know, it is enthralling. As such I am really pleased the RAF Red Arrows will grace our skies once again.
“All of us at the Clacton Airshow have been thinking of the RAF Red Arrows recently as they remember Corporal Jonathan Bayliss, a crew engineer killed in a crash last month."
