Tour of Cambridgeshire attracts 8,000 cyclists over weekend of amateur cycling

Over eight thousand people have taken part in what is the biggest cycling event of its kind this weekend.

The Tour Of Cambridgeshire is a 79 mile course that starts in Peterborough.

It gives amateur cyclists from all over the world the chance to compete in pro conditions on closed roads.

It's the event's third year and the top 25% of finishers will qualify for the amateur world championships.
