Police are searching for a driver involved in a crash in Wisbech which killed a man.
Emergency services were called to a track between Wisbech Road and First Marsh Road yesterday afternoon (5 June) to reports a Mercedes had left the road and ending up in a ditch.
The passenger in the car, a man in his 30s, died at the scene.
It is not thought anyone else was inside the car.
Officers are looking for Tadas Sostakas, who they believe was driving the vehicle and was seen leaving the area shortly after the collision.
Officers believe he could be injured.
Officers have carried out a number of searches in the area but are yet to find Mr Sostakas.
He is described as:
- Last seen wearing a white and blue t-shirt with dark tracksuit bottoms socks and no footwear.
- Witnesses reported seeing Mr Sostakas with blood on his top, face and hands and described his clothes as muddied
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Mr Sostakas.
