Cambridgeshire goalkeeper Nick Pope is set to be handed his England debut tonight.
The Burnley stopper is expected to play the second-half of the World Cup warm-up game against Costa Rica at Elland Road in Leeds.
Stoke City's Jack Butland will definitely play the first 45 minutes, but it's believed that Pope will be given a chance to impress from the bench by manager Gareth Southgate.
If Pope does get on, it would cap a fairytale rise for the 26-year-old who was playing part-time in Bury St Edmunds just seven years ago.
After being released by Ipswich Town as a 16-year-old, he studied at West Suffolk College and even worked on a milk float in his home town of Soham to earn some extra money before being given a chance to return to the professional game with Charlton Athletic in 2011.
His form for Burnley earned him a place in England's World Cup squad at the expense of the experienced Joe Hart who has fallen out of favour.
England v Costa Rica is live on ITV tonight, with coverage starting at 7.30pm
