Northampton Saints have been handed a tough draw in the European Challenge Cup after being put in the same pool as Clermont Auvergne and the Dragons.
French side Clermont are familiar opponents for the Saints who faced them in last season's Champions Cup.
Welsh club Dragons will also represent a stern test, having reached the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup in 2016.
The other side in Pool One are Romanian minnows Timișoara Saracens, who are the current champions of their country.
The Saints are taking part in Europe's second tier tournament for the first time in a number of years after they failed to qualify for the Champions Cup.
The final will be held in Newcastle next May.
