Luton Airport has been named the UK's worst airport with Stansted and Manchester ranked joint second last.

It is the third consecutive year the Bedfordshire airport has come bottom of the annual study by consumer group Which?

Passengers expressed concern about its toilets, staff and bag drop queues.

Customers assessed the airports in 10 categories with Luton receiving a customer score of 35% and Stansted 44%.

One of the region's other airports, Southend, was ranked second best in the country achieving a customer score of 84%.

Norwich airport was ranked 9th with a score of 68%.

"In the first six months of 2018 alone, 1.2 million passengers responded to our customer service tracking, 70% of whom told us they were happy with their experience."
