MK Dons have signed striker Rhys Healey from Premier League side Cardiff City on loan until January.
The 23-year-old will remain with the Dons until January 5.
Healey has previously spent time out on loan at Colchester United, Dundee, Newport County and Torquay United and has scored 19 goals in 42 career starts.
"Rhys is a player who I’ve looked at previously. I always thought he would suit my team well and I made enquiries about on numerous occasions over the past two or three years," MK Dons manager Paul Tisdale said.
“With his work-rate and ability, I think this is a nice fit. He is a player who is hungry to play and prove himself. We are more than happy to facilitate in that challenge for him.
“We need re-enforcements so we expect him to feature very quickly. We’re hoping he can settle really quickly and play his best football very soon.”
Meanwhile, Peterborough United have signed Scottish midfielder Darren Lyon on a free transfer and allowed midfielder Jermaine Anderson to join League One rivals Doncaster Rovers on loan until January.
In League Two, Stevenage striker Danny Newton has agreed a new contract.
