Mathew Smyth: Family pay tribute to 'amazing and cheeky' motorcyclist killed in Linton crash
The family of a motorcyclist who died in a crash in Cambridgeshire have described him as an "amazing, cheeky, fun-loving young man."
Mathew Smyth, 25, from Duxford was killed when he was involved in a collision on the A1307 in Linton on August 29.
Ricardas Taraska, 23, from Norwich has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a collision and failing to report a collision to police.
He's due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on 28 September.
“We, the family and friends are absolutely heart broken and distraught beyond belief at the loss of Mathew," Mr Smyth's family said in a statement.
"We have lost the most amazing, cheeky, fun-loving young man anyone could ever wish to meet.
“The impact this has and will forever have on our lives is indescribable, Mathew will now never get to meet his unborn child.”
