Sue Weaver is from Hemsby in Norfolk where she's is well known in the community, not just as a shoulder to lean on, but as the organiser of a very busy and lucrative bring and buy sale.
Sue is the winner of the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Fundraiser of the Year Award in the east of the Anglia region.
Over the years it is estimated that Sue has raised £40,000 for the Hemsby lifeboat.
Our reporter Kate Prout went along to surprise her and there were emotional scenes as you can see here.
Sue Weaver was one of four finalists in the east of the Anglia region.
The other nominees in the Anglia east region were:
Michael Gyapong, from Wymondham in Norfolk, who's raised nearly £20,000 for 'Médecins Sans Frontières'.
Will Arnold, from Chelmsford, who ran to raise money for cancer research and the local hospital where his wife died of bowel cancer.
Pete Redwood-Smith, from Rayleigh, who set himself the target of running 52 races in 52 weeks to raise thousands for charity and help battle his own depression. I
