Firefighters battle King's Lynn charity shop blaze

Dozens of firefighters have been battling a major blaze in King's Lynn town centre.

Smoke could be seen for miles as the fire ripped through a charity shop in the High Street this morning.

Police cordoned off the area and asked the public to keep clear as fire crews fought the flames.

"We have King's Lynn North, King's Lynn South, King's Lynn aerial ladder platform and Earlham's aerial ladder platform along with one appliance from Wisbech, one from Downham Market, one from Heacham, one from Hunstanton, one from Fakenham, one from Watton, one from Dereham and the control vehicle from Wymondham in attendance at a building fire on High Street in King's Lynn. Crews are using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire."
