Norwich City fans celebrated a perfect Saturday as they catapulted to the top of the Championship with a 4-0 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday.
Goals from Emi Buendia, Dennis Srbeny and two from Teemu Pukki secured a comfortable win for the Canaries at Hillsborough - the first time they have won there since 2001.
It sent Daniel Farke's side to the Championship summit - while they waited to see if promotion rivals Middlesborough would go back top with a win at Stoke this evening.
Meanwhile, rivals Ipswich Town continue to prop up the table after a comeback from Preston denied a dream start for new boss Paul Lambert.
Town had taken the lead on the stroke of half time through a Freddie Sears penalty before Preston hit back through Paul Gallagher.
Gallagher then had to go in goal after keeper Chris Maxwell was sent off but Ipswich couldn't make their advantage count and stay bottom.
