The family of a 19-year old who died in a collision on the A421 in Bedfordshire say he was a loving and caring boy with a cheeky smile.
Thomas Smith who was known as Tom to family and friends, was killed in a collision involving a van and a lorry on Thursday 1st November.
He was a passenger in a white Volkswagen van when it collided with the HGV, which was parked in a layby next to the eastbound carriageway, between Cardington and Great Barford. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 38-year old man from Bedford was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released under investigation.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
