A former bus station in Milton Keynes is now housing charities to help vulnerable people.
The newly-refurbished Unity Park Station is open from November to March and provides vital support services.
It is home to eleven charities including Grandmentors. It launched last month and matches volunteers over 50 with young people leaving care.
"Things that we would take for granted like how to cook, how to wash your clothes, financial literacy, applying for jobs and so forth, they miss out on those opportunities. "So the grandmentor is really there to facilitate, empower and to engage that young person to help them sort it out and figure it out for themselves."
