Youngsters learn skills for life at mini athletics

Over the winter months getting children active can be a little harder - but Mini Athletics in Ely is trying to change that.

It is a class for children over two years old and the idea is to teach them basic athletic skills with as much fun possible.

Kirk Bowyer, Co-founder of Mini Athletics, said: “We wanted to enhance athleticism right from the earliest age.

"The chances are they are going to be really competent and confident in sports they play and continue to play those sports throughout their life."
